The president is elected by first-past-the-post-voting: the candidate with the most votes is declared the winner with no requirements.

Elections will be conducted under the auspices of ELECAM (ELECTIONS CAMEROON).

The Director General of ELECAM shall be responsible for the preparation and material organization for the elections. Listed below are the Nine (09) candidates that are contesting for the presidential elections :

• Joshua Osih (SDF) ;
• Maurice Kamto (MRC) ;
• Akere Muna (FPD) ;
• Garga Haman Adji (ADD) ;
• Adamau Ndam Njoya (UDC) ;
• Cabral Libril (UNIVERSE) ;
• Serge Espoir Matomba (PURS) ;
• Ndifor Afonioi Franklin (PNPC).
